Kids at Mt Shasta on the way to WA.

So the kids and I made our annual trip to WA the end of July. On our way to their Tyler's front tooth became abscessed. We arrived at Trisha's on Saturday evening and Tyler and I were up all night (no joke) trying to find a dentist that would see him on the weekend. With no such luck...somehow at 3am I was told (can't remember who I was talking to at 3am) that Harbor View Hospital had a dentist on call and they would be able to help Tyler. So Tyler and I were off to the dentist first thing Sunday morning. Once we were checked in and in a "curtain room" we were told that they won't touch kids teeth...I let them know that I really appreciated them letting me know when I called them on the way to the hospital confirming they had a dentist for my "son". They gave us Tylenol 3 and penicillin. The Tylenol 3 was a blessing from God (no joke). Poor little guy was in so much pain he was begging the doctor at the hospital to pull his tooth. Monday we went to a dentist and had the tooth pulled. Lets just say it was awful and my little guy was a SUPER STAR! He held so still for that dentist (even the dentist said he was shocked because most adults don't sit still like he did) we were all amazed. I guess the tooth was so infected they couldn't really numb it so you can imagine the pain he went through. After the appointment Tyler and I pretty much collapsed for a couple of days. I have to say Tyler totally could have played a Who's in The Grinch that Stole Christmas... : )
After that the fun started. We were able to see all the cousins (thank you everyone for coming over to Trisha's), went to a baseball game (thank you Dad), picked up our new tent trailer (thank you Uncle Reid) and even got to go to the Fair (thank you Aunt Carolyn and Grandma Linda)!! I have attached a few pictures so you can see how much fun we had. Hope everyone had a great summer!
